Friday night fulfilled all of my dreams. The concert was fabulous; Luke Bryan is one sexy man. I came home with a Luke Bryan key chain, a Luke Bryan t-shirt, and a Luke Bryan cup. I know, I have a problem. Anyway, Florida Georgia Line was mehh - I wasn't really impressed with their performance, and besides their song "Crusie", I didn't like their music. Thompson Square was awesome. I saw them last February in Salt Lake City when they came with Lady Antebellum, and I'm impressed with how much their show has grown over the past 19 months. Their voices were just as strong as last time, but their set was more interactive and there were more songs. I may or may not have teared up when they sang "If I Didn't Have You"; c'mon, it was our wedding song for heavens sake! And finally, at 9 p.m., Luke Bryan in his sexy blue jeans, ball cap, and tight t-shirt took the stage. I told Trev to just let me have two hours to drool over Luke and enjoy the concert. After all, I did marry the better man here, but what's wrong with a little drooling? ;) Mr. Brian sang all of my favorite songs, thrusted his pelvis a lot, flashed his perfect smile, and shook his all too attractive ass for two whole hours. Even Trev was impressed with his performance. Coming from a country-hater, that means a lot! It was the best wedding present ever.

Best shirt everrrr. (:
Saturday while my family went up to Idaho for a steer sale (oh, the things my parents and brothers do for a stupid cow) Trev, Natalie, and I slept in and then we took Natalie to her grandma's in American Fork for the rest of the weekend. Trevor and I made a stop at our favorite restaurant (Buffalo Wild Wings, duh!) where we encountered horrible service. We had our order taken at 3:05, and our stupid waiter didn't come and check on us or refill our bone dry drinks until 3:50. Did we have our food? No. Instead, we watched everyone else around us who were seated after us get their food. When our unobservant waiter finally took pity on us to stop at our table, he told us that "the kitchen had lost our order, that he would retake it, and he was so sorry." Well, at this point I was pissed off and told the waiter that I wanted a discount because of the shitty customer service we'd encountered and that the whole situation was freaking ridiculous. That poor guy couldn't look me in the eye the rest of the time. When our wings finally came, they were hot, and beautiful, and only cost us $16 thanks to a massive discount by the manager. We also received two coupons for free wings for our next visit. Score. Trev proceeded to tell me that obviously I need to speak up more often, instead of being worried about hurting the waiter's or waitress's feelings. When my family finally decided to come home, Trevor and I spent the rest of the evening playing board games with Tedo and listening to the BYU-Utah game on the radio.
Saturday night with my favorite boys.
Sunday came all too quickly, but was spent with family and friends. Sunday morning, Trevor and I went and visited one of my dear friends and old Young Women's leader who I hadn't seen in two years. This woman had such an impact on my life in my later teen years, and I absolutely love her to death. The visit was emotional, but fulfilling; I just love my Pam. (: Later, we as a family went to Cora's 3rd birthday party at Jump Around Utah, a large indoor bounce house. Cora was our flower girl for the wedding, and is the cutest damn thing ever. Her mom Trish and my mom became really good friends when they worked together, and I became friends with Trish when I worked with both of them for a month. My family isn't friends with very many people, so Trish, her husband Jackson, and Cora are special. Cora's the replacement grandchild to fill the hole in my parents' lives, because Trev and I are not having kids for five longggggg years. (Thank you, IUD.)
Me and the birthday princess. (:
Trevie and the birthday princess. (:
We're going to be the fun parents, gosh damn it.
Needless to say, coming home Sunday night and going to school Monday morning wasn't the funnest thing. I somehow developed a cold over the weekend so I'm miserably stuffed up and drippy. Sometimes I wish we lived closer to them; Trev and Tedo have so much fun together and I like Utah County (to a certain extent.) Can't wait to see them all in a couple of weeks for fall break.
