Hello, 2 0 1 5!

2015 has already brought big changes to the Green household, and we can't wait to see where the rest of the year takes us.

- On January 5th, I started my new job as a teller at Zions Bank. I had a week of training, and last week I completed a week of supervised training. This upcoming week I'm settling into what my typical weekly schedule will be. Being a bank teller is probably the hardest job I've ever had; it's a lot to remember, there's plenty of rules and regulations, and it's a non-stop flow of business. They keep telling me that I won't be 100% comfortable in this job till I've been there for about six months. I've had several nights of meltdowns and tears and sore feet. I've also been introduced to starting a 401K and signing up for benefits. Uhm, hello adulthood? It's been weird not worrying about classes or homework alongside Trevor and working 9 - 6 Monday thru Friday. Also, wearing slacks and button up shirts isn't my favorite thing in the world, but I'm slowly discovering that a chunky necklace or sweater can change the cuteness factor.
Jan. 5: First day of work for me//first day of classes for him.

- Trev started another semester at SUU on January 5th, too. Trevor is taking on a heavy load of classes - 16 credits - and is applying for the elementary education program on February 9th. We and his school counselor are confident that he'll be accepted. He's really focused on his classes and staying on top of his workload. We had to buy him a bunch of new dress shirts, ties, and slacks as well because he gets to go out to Iron Springs Elementary once a week for two hours to work alongside a teacher in her classroom. (The teacher he happens to be working with is his aunt Angie - how fun is that?) He loves the hands-on experience he's getting with students in various subjects. He also started classes for his special education emphasis.

- Aubrey came back to Cedar City with us from San Diego to spend time with family and friends before flying back to Nebraska to start a new semester. I think it's going to take me a couple more years to adjust to having a sister, and to sharing Trevor with another woman who loves him as much as I do. ;) Just kidding - I really do love having her as my sister-in-law. She spent a couple of nights with us watching movies and hanging out, helping Trevor with his math homework. I introduced her to the beauty of Instagram, and she promptly set one up for Roger, her Giant Schnauzer. Follow @roger.the.giant on Insta if you want to see a fun, big, lovable teddy bear.

- Because of our early morning schedules, we now have time to get together for quick breakfast dates if our busy schedules allow us to. I think Monday morning smoothie dates to Tropical Smoothie might become a weekly thing for us. Also, since Trev has Mondays and Thursdays off from work, he is going to start making dinner on those nights since I don't get home till 6:30. I came home last Monday to steak, pasta, and salad. I married a winner.

- Saturdays are pretty much the only day of the week that we have together to have date night. During the week, we're both too tired or too busy to do much of anything. Or, if we do catch a moment to be together, it's spent cuddling, grocery shopping, going on Costco runs, or catching up on our television shows. Trev works late night shifts during the week and full 12 hour shifts on Sundays, but most Saturdays his work schedule isn't too unbearable. So helloooo Saturdays with the Green's! This past Saturday we invited Cam to tag along with us to go ice skating (Trev didn't rip his pants this time, haha) and then we had dinner at Chilis. I love any time I can spend with my sweet, hardworking husband.

We're adjusting to our new busy lives, and we couldn't be happier. I love my Mr. Green, and as far as I know, he loves his crazy Mrs. Green. ;) We've almost been married for 18 months on the 3rd of February, and soon we'll be celebrating 3 years together. I have a feeling that 2015 is going to fly right by.
