Thanksgiving Break Recap

I was NOT ready to come back from California, but the nightmares about the President's Gala and final projects propelled me back to good ol' Utah. Thanksgiving break was a much needed couple of days off (that truly should have been spent doing homework, but I am the Queen of Procrastination) and we were more than happy to escape reality. It's always a good time to be in our home away from home with family. It was quite the adventure having all of the siblings plus Grandma all together. Sometimes, even though I've been apart of this family for over a year, I still feel like an outsider. I can't wait till Trev, his family, and I can all share memories and stories that I'm in. I do love my new family so much, and appreciated the opportunity I was given this Thanksgiving holiday to get to know them even better.

I've shared a couple of pictures from our trip below. It was a lot of family time, a lot of beach time, and a lot of time just soaking up the San Diego weather, especially since we came back to snow and negative degree temperatures. Trev and I don't know the next time we'll be going back to San Diego, but we can't wait. In fact, we're dreaming of the day that we can finally move there for good.

Thanksgiving Day! Complete with lots of good food, family, and a walk on the beach.
