{1} Year Anniversary Pictures

Trevor's stepsister Melissa {sidenote: she is not technically his stepsister anymore because the marriage ended, but Melissa and Trev are as close to brother and sister as you can get!} has her own photography business based in St. George. Unlike other white girls with a Canon camera who think they're a photographer, Melissa is legit and has pure talent with natural light. It's fun to see how her photography has grown since day one till now. She has a passion for it, following a dream encouraged by her mother who passed away last year. So, if you're looking for some beautiful red rock family photos, or just some beautiful photos in general, contact Melissa. Click here to go to her photography Facebook page.

I asked Melissa in June if she would be willing to take some one year anniversary pictures of Trev and I in July. If you know me, I love pictures and I especially love fancy professional photos. I'm hoping that anniversary photos can be a tradition for Trevor and I. One trip down to Old Navy in St. George for outfits {I freaking LOVE Old Navy} and an afternoon spent in Snow Canyon later, here are some of my favorite pictures:

Hanging out with our cute photographer after pictures.
We love you, Melissa!
It was a very low-key anniversary, and I'm grateful we did it that way. We were able to just spend quality time together as husband and wife and reflect on how we had grown together over the year. We also kept to the tradition of eating our wedding cake. I thought it was nasty while Trev kept eating it. That is, until he realized that he was eating year old raspberry filling. We threw the cake away with gusto and opted for homemade ice cream sundaes. (:
