Hello, hello, hello from the Green family!
So much for my goal to blog more, right?
Crazy to think that it's already the end of May. One month of summer already done and out of the way... 2015 has been flying by! It's easy to loose track of time (and desire to blog) when life gets busy.
Trev and I are doing great. I can say that this year has been a year of learning, growth, and an overwhelming growth of love. It's hard to believe that we've almost been married for two years in August. May 4th marked three years together. Some days I feel like we've been married for years, and other days I feel like I am still a day old newlywed. We're happy to announce that we've made it 21 months with no pregnancy scares or baby announcements. And, living in Utah, that is quite the accomplishment.
I am enjoying my job as a bank teller most days. Some days are better than others, and some days are definitely the worst, but it's a job. I am doing freelance writing work for Becki Bronson, the Public Relations specialist at Valley View Medical Center who I interned with last fall. I'm still crossing my fingers for a chance at my dream job as a communication specialist at a hospital, or working in the Public Relations office at SUU with my friend and professor.
Trevor has picked up a new client at his Chrysalis house, which means more work hours. He's been at this house for a year now, and has worked for Chrysalis for over a year and half, and still loves his job. Trevie is taking one summer class in July for five weeks to complete his final math requirement. He's been accepted into the Elementary Education program at SUU after lots of hard work and fixing grades.
I caught up on the past couple of months of blogging, so please scan through the posts if you want to read what we were up to in February, March, and April. Honestly, it didn't feel like we were up to much; there were lots of work hours logged, homework and projects stressed over, plenty of time on the couch watching TV, lots of tears shed over adjusting to a new job, tons of late night snuggles from Trev when he comes home from work, and time spent simply being with my best friend in between our conflicting work schedules.
This month...
- we've seen Avengers: Age of Ultron in theater.
- we have gone to a couple of Fullmer side family parties.
- Trev walked away from the semester with three A's and two B's, his best grades ever.
- I've stayed balanced with my till at the bank.
- we've gone on at least two one-on-one date nights.
- I've bought some (too many) summer clothes from Old Navy.
- Trevor got a matching tattoo with his two brothers!
- we've used our new barbecue three times.
- I graduated.
- spent quality time with Danny and Michelle when they were in town for graduation.
- the Cates' came to see us, and Ellie is soooo big!
- had my nails done a couple of times by Amanda.
- I've played several softball games with my Zions Bank team.
- Trev's made new work friends to play Grand Theft Auto with.
- I've gone to dinner with my girls.
- Luke Bryan's new single came out and I'm in love.
- Trev bought a new 50" TV, and moved our "little" 39" TV into the bedroom. Such a man...
- I've snuggled on the couch with my afghan watching the rain fall.
- we've taken lots of pictures/selfies doing nothing together. <3
- Trevor ventured out to Enterprise to watch his friend Katie graduate.
- saw our friend Luke.
- I bought new vinyl decorations for our living room.
- we've planned a couple of quick getaways for the summer weekends.
- my anxiety has been a little bit unbearable this month because of my uncontrolled, unpredictable, really long menstrual cycle (too much information? Sorry!).
