Tedo. New Hair. Fall Break. Zombies.

I can't believe that it's already Wednesday. Someone told me that once I got married, time would just fly by. They weren't kidding. Sometimes I just look at Trevor and think, "Dude, we've been married for almost three months, and have been together for a year and a half. Like really?" Last week at this time I had just got done with dinner with my husband, brother, and parents. This week we're packing bags to travel. Fall break is next Monday and Tuesday, so Trevie and I are heading up to Lehi on Friday after classes. We'll hit up some haunted houses, attend my brother's Eagle Court of Honor, and probably hit up Buffalo Wild Wings. But seriously, where does the time go? Didn't we just start school?

Anyway, here's the weekly update on the livin' the life of a Green.

Having Tedo in Cedar City last week was indeed an absolute blast. The kid has so much energy and is so happy and entertaining. I know that his happy go lucky (sometimes pissy) attitude was definitely passed down from my Grandpa Larry. You can't mistake the blue mischievous twinkle in T's eye. Grandpa was definitely the force pushing Tedo onto this earth. The boys had plenty of video game time all weekend. Tedo and I (because I skipped class... whoops) went and visited Trev at work and got lunch from him Friday. Friday night we donned our red T-Bird shirts and went to Forever Red - SUU's Homecoming celebration. It was mandatory for me to attend and help out at because my event management class was partially in charge of it, but my hell it was so boring. Last year's was definitely much better. The only good band (mind you, they brought in Hellogoodbye, but even they weren't that good) was an acapella group from Seattle. The event was outside and the temperature was in the low 40's. Tedo had had enough after watching fireworks and collecting glowsticks all night, so we went home early and watched the X-Men movies. Saturday came way too early, and it was spent watching more X-Men movies, playing more video games, and going to a pumpkin patch in Paragonah. The pumpkin patch was disappointing; there wasn't that big of a selection and most of the patch was run down and moldy. We ended up cheating and bought pumpkins at Walmart... But it was a fun experience at the patch, and they had a cute petting zoo with baby calves. Dinner was at Winger's and then the rest of our night was spent carving pumpkins on a tarp in the living room watching The Crood's and, you guessed it, more X-Men movies. Needless to say we were sad when we drove Tedo home Sunday afternoon. I hope that my brother, my husband, and myself all stay as close as we are now. They're the two best friends a girl could ever have.

Judd's Pumpkin Patch, Winger's, and carving pumpkins

Ok, this was so much fun to do once I got the hang of it. I saw a craft on Pinterest that called for a white pumpkin and crayons. Either with a lighter or a hair blow dryer, you melt the crayons onto the white pumpkin, and it creates a big mess of color.

The Walking Dead season 4 started Sunday night, so it was probably a good thing that Tedo went home. (; It's not a show for children. The first episode started out slow, but then gradually built to the climax at the end of the episode. Next Sunday is going to be a nail-biter. Can I just say how much I love Norman Reedus and his beloved character portrayal, Darryl? I swear, if the creators of the show kill him off, they're going to have an uprising on their hands. Oh, and if any of you Walking Dead fans want a good article to read, click here.

I dyed my hair today, thanks to my lovely friend Adam. (Seriously though, if anyone needs their hair done in Cedar, Adam is going to Evan's Hairstyling College but he is so good at what he does.) Ever since watching How I Met Your Mother and seeing Lily's reddish-brown hair in a later season, I've had a desire to do mine the same. It's a nice fall color, and it's gorgeous, plus I was ready for a change. I quite like it a lot. Even though my husband prefers brunettes, he said he'll deal with my red hair tyranny.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love this man? He's my best friend, guys, like for real. The thought hit me the other day that I truly don't know what I'd do without him. Love you, Mr. Green.
