Why can't we always have fall break?

Well, we're halfway through the semester. Tomorrow I have a meeting with one of my awesome professors discuss where I want to go after graduation, and a meeting with my academic counselor to talk about graduation (!!!) and registering for next semester. Trev and I have to make it through 35 more days of school this semester. That's not including weekends or Thanksgiving break, so it's a nice, small number. Scary, but awesome.

Fall break was much needed, and I am feeling 100% better about life. We didn't have to worry about what's going to happen after I graduate. We didn't have to go to school and do pointless assignments. We were able to enjoy quality time with each other and with my family. While we were in Lehi, we went to the movies, saw Tedo play some soccer, went to the Fear Factory SLC with Trev's cousin Colton, watched A LOT of football (way to beat Peyton Manning, Colts ;)), attended Big T's Court of Honor, filled in for my dad at Tedo's elementary school, and celebrated Mom's birthday. The weekend just flew by! I'm already looking forward to Thanksgiving break in San Diego with the in-laws, and Christmas fun with my family. Sometimes I wish life was all about living close to family and doing things all the time, without worrying about work or school. But then again, I like my alone time with my husband. If we lived closer to Tedo, I'm pretty sure the kid would be on our doorstep every single day wanting to play with Trevor. ;)

The world needs more fall breaks. Thanks, deer hunters, for giving us an excuse to take a few days off. The Greens' appreciate it. ;)
