Tedo

My little brother Tedo (Tyler) is staying with us in Cedar for his fall break. We've been telling him since before we got married that because we have an extra bedroom in our apartment, that just gives him more the reason to come to Cedar and spend time with us. Tedo's come to Cedar lots of times to stay with me at my apartment, so he's no stranger to our favorite town. My parents dropped him off with us last night, and he'll be with us until Sunday which gives us all plenty of time together. Tomorrow he'll get to come with us to the Forever Red event for SUU's homecoming and Saturday we're going to go to a pumpkin patch in Paragonah. To make things even better, Tedo just loves and adores Trevor. (And I'm his favorite *only* sister, so that's nice too. ;)) Those two have so much fun together, and it makes my heart swell to see how loving, gentle, and kind my husband is with kids. Today I wasn't surprised to see my brother immediately sit next to my husband when we got home from school. The boys whipped out the XBOX controllers and played a Marvel superhero game for hours. We cooked dinner and Tedo, my cook-savvy brother, made cake. I'm not kidding you, the 11 year old can cook better than me. Tedo's also been telling us to "get on it because he wants a niece or a nephew. But mainly a nephew." Oh, gosh.

I love my husband and my littlest brother, and I'm looking forward to a weekend full of laughter and fun.
